Resumo: O presente trabalho apresenta uma discussão em torno da disputa das memórias no Estado de Roraima e sua capital Boa Vista, bem como da influencia desta disputa na escolha dos bens que são eleitos como patrimônio cultural no estado. É comum encontrar muito desses bens parcial ou totalmente degradados, e as informações sobre os mesmos são inconsistentes, o que por sua vez causam fragilidade ao gerar documentos, pesquisas, guias e roteiros turísticos, com informações incertas, assim como nos inventários produzidos pelas instituições públicas (federal, estadual e municipal). Nesse sentido, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar dois dos inventários produzidos no Estado de Roraima no âmbito do turismo e do patrimônio cultural. Sendo um inventário produzido pelo governo do estado de Roraima e outro pela Prefeitura Municipal de Boa Vista. Tem como foco principal falar das metodologias de inventários empregadas por esses órgãos e pelo IPHAN e por fim discutir a possibilidade do uso de outros instrumentos na construção de um inventário com maior participação da comunidade local. Dessa forma, finalizo o trabalho apresentando a metodologia Kozel de Mapas Mentais e o resultado de sua aplicação em campo.

Abstract: The present work presents a discussion about the dispute of memories in the State of Roraima and its capital Boa Vista, as well as the influence of this dispute in the choice of assets that are elected as cultural patrimony in the state. It is common to find much of these goods partially or totally degraded, and information about them is inconsistent, which in turn causes fragility when generating documents, surveys, guides and tourist itineraries, with uncertain information, as well as in the inventories produced by public institutions (Federal, state and municipal). In this sense, this work aims to analyze two of the inventories produced in the State of Roraima in the field of tourism and cultural heritage. Being an inventory produced by the government of the state of Roraima and another by the Municipality of Boa Vista. Its main focus is to discuss the methodologies of inventories used by these bodies and IPHAN and finally to discuss the possibility of using other instruments in the construction of an inventory with greater participation of the local community. This way, I finish the work presenting the Kozel methodology of Mental Maps and the result of its application in the field.
