To avoid transmission, you should adopt the following measures:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. Throw used tissues into the trashcan and wash your hands.
- Avoid crowded or closed places, trying to keep rooms well ventilated.
- Do not share personal belongings such as cutlery, plates, glasses or bottles.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is does not recommend the application of travel restrictions to other countries.
