Brazil Pavilion at COP31 Opens Call for Event Proposals
The Brazil Pavilion at the 31st United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP31) is now receiving proposals to panels, debates and climate solutions from Brazil and around the world. Starting Friday (August 21), event proposals can be submitted for the Pavilion’s two rooms: Belém and Global Mutirão. COP31 will take place November 9–20 in Antalya, Türkiye. The submission process closes at 11:59 p.m. (GMT-3) on September 7.
The 2026 selection process will be coordinated by Brazil’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the COP30 Presidency, and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The program will focus on climate action and implementation, bringing together Brazilian and international voices to showcase experiences, debate challenges and advance solutions.
The Belém Room will focus on issues that matter to Brazilian society, connecting Brazil’s experience in implementing climate commitments with the broader global agenda. Proposals are welcome from all sectors of society, creating a space for diverse perspectives and experiences.
The Global Mutirão Room will spotlight the Global Climate Action Agenda, with events organized around the six pillars that translate the outcomes of the first Global Stocktake into areas for accelerated action. Priority will be given to proposals addressing the 120 Plans to Accelerate Solutions — initiatives designed to turn climate ambition into implementation.
The Brazil Pavilion will be located in the Blue Zone of COP31, where access requires accreditation.
