THE EMBASSY
Created on January 26th, 2010, by Federal Decree No. 7073, the Embassy of Brazil in Tirana is one of over 200 Brazilian diplomatic missions abroad. The Embassy represents the Federative Republic of Brazil in the Republic of Albania. To this end, it is in permanent communication with local authorities, government officials and representatives of the private sector. Its goal is to strengthen political ties and friendship between the two nations.
Since July 4, 2022, the Embassy has been under the leadership of João Tabajara de Oliveira Júnior, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Republic of Albania.
The Consular Section of the Embassy provides assistance to Brazilian citizens visiting or residing in the Republic of Albania. The Section is also responsible for granting and denying visas to foreigners who wish to visit Brazil.
