Legalization of Jordanian documents for use in Brazil
LEGALIZATION OF JORDANIAN DOCUMENTS
The Embassy can legalize official documents issued in Jordan provided they have been previously legalized by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
To schedule an appointment for this service, send an email to consular.ama@itamaraty.gov.br.
Consular Fee:
- JOD 14.20 per document
- School documents: JOD 3.55 (if more than three school documents: JOD 10.65 for all documents)
Payment of the consular fee must be made at any AJIB branch or via mobile transfer/CliQ to the account Brazilian Embassy Renda Consular, IBAN / CliQ: JO90AJIB2260006131710010648000

The Embassy cannot legalize official documents issued in Brazil. Brazilian documents must be apostilled or legalized in Brazil.

APOSTILLE FOR BRAZILIAN DOCUMENTS
Anyone wishing to obtain an apostille for an official Brazilian document may request this service directly from the notaries public (cartórios de notas) and registry offices authorized by the National Council of Justice (Conselho Nacional de Justiça – CNJ). Brazilian embassies and consulayes do not provide this service.
Important: Jordan is NOT a party to the Hague Apostille Convention.
