This service is not within the competence of Brazilian consular offices.
Therefore, it cannot be requested at Brazilian Embassies or Consulates abroad.

About this service:
The Brazilian Embassy in Amman does not issue Hague Apostilles for Brazilian or foreign documents.
Only notarial offices (cartórios) in Brazil that are authorized by the National Council of Justice (CNJ) are qualified to perform this procedure.
If you need to apostille Brazilian documents, please contact an authorized notary’s office in your region in Brazil.
Jordan is NOT a party to the Hague Apostille Convention. For a Jordanian document to be valid in Brazil, it must be:
- Legalized by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA),
- Legalized by the Brazilian Embassy in Amman (click here to see how to request this service), and
- Translated in Brazil by a sworn public translator registered with the Commercial Registry (Junta Comercial) of the relevant state.
