Mandatory update of CPF registration data
Starting January 13th 2025, all non-Brazilian citizens who already have a CPF number and live abroad must update their CPF registration data.
In order to do so, you must follow the steps listed below:
- Download the Receita Federal app on your mobile phone. Click here for iOS or Android.
- Insert your CPF number;
- Take a selfie with the passport identification page open, next to your face;
- Fill out the information requested on the app.
