Recruitment Process – Support Assistant Position - APPLICATIONS CLOSED!

The Embassy of Brazil in Windhoek announces the opening of applications for one Support Assistant position, from 16 to 30 April 2025.

Main responsibilities:

The selected candidate will perform support tasks such as:

• Driving official vehicles;

• Transporting documents and goods;

• Cleaning and maintenance of vehicles and premises;

• Assisting in administrative duties and events;

• Basic repairs, gardening, and pantry services.

Mandatory requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years;

• Completion of Grade 7 / Primary Education (or equivalent);

• Valid driving licence;

• Fluency in Portuguese and English;

• Legal residence and work authorisation in Namibia;

• Police clearance certificate (NAMPOL);

• Physical and mental fitness for the role.

Salary and benefits:

• Initial monthly salary: N$ 8,379.00 (gross);

• Health insurance provided for the employee and legal dependents;

• Employment regulated under Namibian labour law.

Selection stages:

A. CV screening – Results

B. Interviews – Scheduled for 23, 24, and 25 May

In accordance with item 11.7.1 of the Selection Process 1/2025 Notice, the names of the candidates who have been approved in the interview phase are:

C. Practical driving test – To be held on 4, 5, and 6 June
D. Final results – Announcement: 16 June
