Entry Requirements to Brazil
Due to the declaration of the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding the end of the Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC), the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) has decreed that starting from May 21, 2023, the validity period of Board Resolution (RDC) 456/2020, which addressed the adoption of measures in airports and aircraft due to the Public Health Emergency of National Concern (PHENC) caused by the novel coronavirus, has come to an end.
As a result, Brazilian immigration authorities will no longer require international travelers to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination or present a negative test result for screening for SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) infection. Airlines and airport operators have already been notified by Anvisa about the discontinuation of this requirement.
