VITEM XII: artistic or sports activities visa

TEMPORARY VISA - ARTISTIC OR SPORTIVE ACTIVITIES

*ONLY FOR THOSE WHOSE STAY IN BRAZIL WILL BE LONGER THAN 90 DAYS. 

This type of visa is required for athletes, artists, fashion models or entertainers who wish to perform in Brazil, as well as their staff members.

Qualified applicants:

1. Professional artists;

2. Musicians;

3. Sportspeople;

4. Fashion models;

5. All accompanying technicians/assistants.

Requirements:

This visa request is submitted to the Ministry of Justice and Public Security in Brazil by the sponsoring institution or company in Brazil. Once the request is approved, the Ministry of External Relations will send the approval to the Consulate.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. PASSPORT: Signed, valid up to the end of your trip, and with at least one visa blank page available (amendment pages are not accepted);

2. Visa Application Form at the link https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br/sci/pages/web/ui/#/servicos-estrangeiros. One per applicant, completely filled out online and signed by the passport holder or his/her parents/guardians. You will need to print only the receipt page with the bar code;

3. PHOTO: One recent 2” x 2” passport-photo size, front view, white background;

4. Evidence of INCOME: Proof of financial capability during the stay in Brazil (i.e., copy of bank/credit card statements or paychecks/paystubs);

5. Evidence of LEGAL STAY IN BAHRAIN.: copy of the green card or valid visa;

6. Airline ticket or Click Here for the form;

7. The consular fee must be paid via bank transfer. A copy of the payment receipt is required to be uploaded with your application and must also be presented to the Consular Section on the scheduled day of your appointment.

Applications must be submitted to the Consulate along with the General Requirements plus the original birth certificate.

FOREIGN RESIDENTS: please present also a Copy of the Resident Permit and/or a Valid Visa.

Additional documents may be requested at the Consular Authority’s discretion.
