TEMPORARY VISA - WORK
The temporary visa for work in Brazil includes persons hired by a Brazilian company or individual, technical jobs and/or training performed at an affiliate company in Brazil, franchise operation activities, evaluation and/or repair of equipment installed in Brazil or sold to a Brazilian client, etc.
Whether or not you will be compensated by a Brazilian party is not necessarily a decisive factor.
Please be advised that Temporary visas may be granted to applicants who intend to establish temporary residence (for more than 90 days). If you intend to stay in Brazil for less than 90 days, you must apply for a Visit Visa.
Qualified applicants:

Professionals traveling to provide technical assistance or transfer technology/knowledge within a period of 90 days;

Scientists, professors, teachers, journalists, technicians, or any other traveler holding an employment contract with a Brazilian employer;

Professionals traveling to render service to the Brazilian Government;

Students in professional training, working without a contract, after completion of a technical school or university course;

Medical residents or interns;

Language teachers, including trainees;
-
Ship crewmembers working on foreign fishing vessels rented by Brazilian companies.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Please be advised that all VITEM V requests must be submitted to the Coordination General of Labor Immigration of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security in Brazil by the sponsoring institution before the application is submitted to the Consulate.
Once the request is approved by the Coordination General of Labor Immigration of the Ministry and Justice and Public Security in Brazil, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will communicate said approval to the specified Consulate which may issue the visa.
1. PASSPORT: Signed, valid up to the end of your trip, and with at least one visa blank page available (amendment pages are not accepted);
2. Visa Application Form at the link: https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br/sci/pages/web/ui/#/servicos-estrangeiros. One per applicant, completely filled out online and signed by the passport holder or his/her parents/guardians. You will need to print only the receipt page with the bar code;
3. PHOTO: One recent 2” x 2” passport-photo size, front view, white background;
4. Evidence of INCOME: Proof of financial capability during the stay in Brazil (i.e., copy of bank/credit card statements or paychecks/paystubs);
5. Evidence of LEGAL STAY IN BAHRAIN.: copy of the green card or valid visa;
6. Airline ticket or Click Here for the form.
In addition to the general requirements, you must also present:
1) Good Conduct Certificate issued within the last 3 months;
2) Birth Certificate: Copy of the original birth certificate;
3) The consular fee must be paid via bank transfer. A copy of the payment receipt is required to be uploaded with your application and must also be presented to the Consular Section on the scheduled day of your appointment.
