CPF for Foreign Residents in Bahrain

Foreign citizens of any age who own or wish to own assets and rights subject to public registration in Brazil, including real estate, vehicles, vessels, aircraft, corporate interests, bank accounts or investments in the financial market, must register with the Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas (CPF).
According to Joint Ordinance COCAD/COGEA No. 53/2023, foreigners who are abroad must submit their CPF applications to Brazilian consular offices abroad, in person.
To apply for CPF number, the foreigner must:
⚠️ The "Título de Eleitor" field on the form must be left blank. The browser's pop-up blocker must be disabled. Otherwise, it will not be possible to submit the request. After clicking on "send", a registration form (FCPF) will be generated containing the service code.
2) Access the e-consular platform (https://ec-manama.itamaraty.gov.br/login) and request the service called "CPF application (for foreign citizens)". In the request, the interested party must present the documents listed below:
- Individual registration form (FCPF) mentioned in item "1" above, filled out and signed;
- Identification document proving name, date of birth and nationality (for example: passport, national identification document, RNE/CRNM); and
- For minors under 16 years of age, send a document proving parents' name (foreign birth certificate, for example).
⚠️ If the document to be presented was not issued by the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, it must be recognized by one of the authorities below:

3) After the request is submitted via e-Consular platform, the Consulate will review and validate the application. The interested party must then schedule a date and time to come to the Consulate and bring all original documents for verification. The CPF number will be issued at the time of the appointment.
