Validation of academic degrees

This service is not within the competence of Brazilian consular offices.

Therefore, it cannot be requested at Brazilian Embassies or Consulates abroad.

Below you can find information on how to submit your request directly to the competent authority. 

Since 2016, Brazil has centralized the recognition and revalidation of foreign university diplomas through the  Carolina Bori Portal, operated by the Ministry of Education of Brazil.

For diplomas issued in Jordan to be accepted for this procedure in Brazil, they must first be:

1. Legalized by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), and
2. Further authenticated/legalized by the Brazilian Embassy in Amman.

Only after these two legalization steps can the revalidation process be initiated through the Carolina Bori Portal at a Brazilian public university.
