Frequently asked questions
-
Is it possible to request a duplicate of my voter registration card?
The voter registration card is no longer issued in paper format, only via the e-Título app.
-
I am looking for information about my voter registration, but I need the number and don't know it. How can I find it out?
To find your voter information, perform a query on the TSE website.
-
I requested the regularization of my canceled voter registration and now I need to provide biometric data. Is it possible to do this at the Consulate?
It is not possible to provide biometric data for voter registration abroad. If your regularization request is pending, you need to cancel your request and submit a new one, providing an address abroad. If you do not have proof of address, use the following declaration template.
-
I have already submitted the electoral service request on the TSE website. When and how will I know if everything is okay?
Wait approximately 15 days from the date of application. Check the status on the TSE website or via the e-Título app.
If, after this period, your request has not been processed, or if there is no available information about the voter, contact the Overseas Electoral Office (Cartório Eleitoral do Exterior - CEE) in Brasília directly to inquire about the status of your request and whether a new application will be necessary. The CEE email is eleitor.exterior@tre-df.jus.br.
-
I received an email from the Electoral Office saying my request was accepted, but when I checked the website and/or app, I still see the old data. Was there an error?
After the request is approved by the Electoral Office in Brasília, it takes some time for the TSE database to be updated. Check again in 5-7 days to obtain the updated voter information.
