Demand of electoral services
Services related to the Electoral Justice system are provided exclusively online. The Consulate no longer handles electoral matters. To regularize your situation, access the Superior Electoral Court's (TSE) Voter Self-Service system at the following link:
Attention! If your voter registration card is canceled, it is impossible to regularize it without transferring it to the United Kingdom. If you do not have proof of address, use the following declaration template.
If your situation is in the "Biometric collection" stage, this is because the registration was initiated at a different electoral office than the Overseas Electoral Zone. To proceed with the regularization, you must cancel this request at the office where it was initiated before starting a new registration with the Overseas Electoral Zone.
We recommend contacting the Overseas Electoral Zone directly to resolve this issue. They provide assistance via WhatsApp at the following number: +55 61 3048-1772.

| Voter Registration |
This is the application to obtain a voter registration card. If approved, the voter becomes eligible to vote in the United Kingdom for the presidency of Brazil. This service is intended for Brazilians between 18 and 70 years old who have been living in England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland for at least 3 months and who have never had a voter registration card. Those between 16 and 18 years old can also apply for registration if they wish. If you do not have proof of address, use the following declaration template. |
| Voter Registration Transfer / Voter Registration Regularization (Canceled or Not) |
Application to transfer electoral domicile to London. If approved, the voter becomes eligible to vote in the United Kingdom for the presidency of Brazil. Through this process, the voter can also regularize any pending electoral issues – including those with a canceled registration card. This service is intended for Brazilians between 18 and 70 years old who have been living in England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland for at least 3 months and who wish to keep their electoral obligations up to date. For the transfer to be approved, there must have been no activity in the registration in another location in the last year (registration, transfer, justification of absence, etc.). Furthermore, the registration cannot be moved again until the transfer is approved (for example: regularizing in Brazil right after transferring to London). If you do not have proof of address, use the following declaration template. |
| Data Revision on Voter Registration Card |
Application to correct an error in the name, date of birth, or other voter data, or to report a change (for example, name changed due to marriage). This service is intended for those who have already had their registration transferred to London previously but need to make some correction, such as a specific letter in the name, a new surname, etc. |
General Guidelines
To vote abroad, it is necessary to transfer your voter registration to the country of residence outside Brazil.
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REGULARIZE A CANCELED VOTER REGISTRATION WITHOUT TRANSFERRING IT TO THE COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE. If you do not have proof of address, use the following declaration template.
Attention: It is NOT possible to provide BIOMETRIC data abroad. If you reside abroad, you must provide a corresponding address so that your application does not remain pending biometric collection in Brazil. If you do not have proof of address, use the following declaration template.
