Registering for the agent/company system

To apply for the agent/company system, please submit the following documents to the e-mail address visa.cantao@itamaraty.gov.br:

Travel agencies:

1. Proof of business operation (business registration)
2. License/registration/certificate for travel operators
3. Proof of a minimum of two years of experience
4. Other accreditations (IATA, IATAN, ARC, CLIA, TRUE), if any
5. Social media / e-commerce details, with information about the services offered by the agency

- A list with links to the agency’s social media / e-commerce profiles is acceptable

6. Proof of the representative’s qualifications

- The representative shall have a license to operate as travel agent

7. A page containing the following information:

- Address of physical office location
- Updated contact list

Companies:

1. Proof of business operation (business registration)
2. Proof of direct business operation in Brazil, such as a branch
3. Proof of financial viability and stability, such as bank statements (last 3 months), bond or letter of credit, etc.
4. Proof of the representative’s qualifications

- The representative must be an HR employee or the equivalent to an “entry-exit” or overseas management employee

5. A page containing the following information:

- Address of physical office location
- Updated contact list

Important remarks:

The consulate encourages all applicants to apply by themselves. Registered agencies should only be sought when the applicant is not available to deliver documents in person or is purchasing a tour package from those companies;
This system is valid only for the Consulate General of Brazil in Guangzhou. The agencies already registered are acting upon strict control and are subject to being suspended at any time for breaking any rules;
The Consulate strongly discourages applicants from seeking any agencies/operators and “huangniu” who offer “express appointment” or “express visa”, as such services do not exist and operators who sell them for profit have been negatively impacting our visa services.
