Participação do Ministro das Relações Exteriores no Debate do Conselho de Segurança das Nações Unidas sobre Proteção de Civis em Conflitos Armados

No dia 12 de fevereiro, em Nova York, o Ministro Patriota participará de Debate Aberto do Conselho de Segurança das Nações Unidas dedicado à proteção de civis em conflitos armados. Manterá, igualmente, encontro com o Ministro de Negócios Estrangeiros da Coreia do Sul, Kim Sung-hwan, cujo país exerce a Presidência do Conselho de segurança no mês de fevereiro de 2013, e se reunirá com o Secretário-Geral da ONU, Ban Ki-moon, e com o Presidente da Assembleia-Geral da ONU, Vuk Jeremić.

No dia 11 de fevereiro, em Cambridge, proferirá palestra a convite da "Kennedy School of Government", instituto de relações internacionais da Universidade de Harvard, sobre o tema "Projeção global do Brasil: uma agenda diplomática voltada para o desenvolvimento e para a paz.

Minister Patriota will participate in the UN Security Council's Open Debate on the protection of civilians in armed conflict in New York on February 12. He will also hold meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Korea, Kim Sung-hwan, whose country presides over the Security Council in February 2013, and with both the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon and the President of the UN General Assembly, Vuk Jeremić.

He will deliver a lecture at the invitation of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in Cambridge on February 11, on the topic "Brazil's Global Outreach: a diplomatic agenda focused on development and peace".
