Gileno Barreto

Gileno Barreto is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Federal Data Processing Service - Serpro. Graduated in Law at Uniceub, post-graduated and master's degree in International Tax Law, he has an MBA in Business Administration from FGV-SP. Former Director of Carf and CSRF between 2004 and 2014, he worked in administrative and judicial tax litigation and as a consultant to large national and multinational companies, accumulating 25 years of professional experience.

He has extensive experience in tax planning and legal-tax support for multinational investors and family businesses, focused on family succession and wealth management. He worked in due diligence processes, in valuations, in mergers, incorporations and divisions of large companies, in the elaboration and implementation of corporate restructuring plans and in the post-deal in integration processes (integration process).

He also has outstanding experience in compliance projects as an external auditor for large national and multinational companies, drafting legislative proposals and acting in tax and management consultancy for government agencies (Government Services), state and parastatal agencies, such as autarchies (RFB) ), regulatory agencies (ANEEL, ANTT) and professional associations (CNI, CNA, CNF).
