The Granioter
Granioter is a strategic project of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) with funding from FINEP, headquartered at the CDTN, a public R&D&I institution located in Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil.
The Nuclear Technology Development Center (CDTN) is one of the research units of the National Nuclear Energy Commission (CNEN), linked to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil (MCTI).
Granioter is a Technological Hub for Advanced Materials and Strategic Minerals
Granioter's actions aim to promote the development of strategic R&D&I projects that have already advanced in the initial stages of the technological maturity scale, aiming at the technological densification of production chains based on advanced materials and strategic minerals with growing global demand, such as Graphene, Niobium and Rare Earths.
We actively prospect stakeholders with the purpose of establishing strategic partnerships. We are open to the national R&D&I community, seeking synergy in initiatives and investments.
Granioter has a broad infrastructure, including a Multi-User Advanced Materials Unit (UMMA), which includes facilities, laboratories and equipment that aim to meet the needs of projects linked to Granioter – MCTI and provide services to the external public.
We have groups of technical and scientific experts in certain areas of knowledge responsible for the analysis and technological consultancy for the development of projects related to Granioter.
