The CDTN Corrosion Laboratory is dedicated to the study of electrochemical corrosion of metal alloys at room temperature and at high temperatures and pressures. It also carries out tests and research on stress corrosion of metals.
Main Equipment
- 3 (three) potentiostats/galvanostats;
- autoclaves and reference electrodes for electrochemical tests at high temperatures (up to 250ºC);
- 2 installations for stress corrosion tests with low deformation stress.
