Nanotechnology Service - SENAN

Purpose

To carry out research and development activities of new materials, products and processes in the areas of Nanosciences and Nanotechnology.

Basic duties

• To carry out research and development of nanostructured materials, including synthesis, exploration of new preparation routes and investigation of physical, chemical and biological properties;
• To seek the development of new products and technological processes based on nanostructured materials aiming at applications in strategic areas, especially the nuclear, energy, health and environmental areas;
• To contribute to the training of high-level human resources in their area of ​​activity;
• To ensure that the activities and facilities under their responsibility are executed and operated in accordance with the established regulatory, safety, radiological protection and licensing requirements.
