Ore Treatment Laboratory

The ore treatment laboratory is capable of carrying out work involving unitary operations for the physical processing of different types of ore, whether radioactive or not, such as: grinding, magnetic separation, gravimetric concentration, flotation, etc. Its infrastructure consists of benchtop rod and ball mills, flotation cells, low, medium and high intensity magnetic separators, vibrating tables, cyclosizer, Andreasen pipette, cell disruptor, sonic sieve, Knelson concentrator, model KBPC 240D, scales, pH meters, ultrasound bath, ovens, digital mechanical stirrers, digital magnetic stirrer, glassware and flotation reagents.
