Radiopharmaceutical Service - SERFA

Purpose

Plan, coordinate and execute research activities, develop processes and products to meet the needs of the Center and external clients.

Basic duties

• Produce and supply radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine and research;
• Ensure regular and quality supply of radiopharmaceuticals to clients;
• Support research that requires irradiation in the Cyclotron;
• Support research for the development of new radiopharmaceuticals;
• Develop research on the applications of radiation in biology (radiobiology, radiobiotechnology and biosafety);
• Manage and maintain the Radiopharmaceutical Research and Production Unit – UPPR in accordance with legal requirements and quality needs;
• Contribute to the training of human resources in its area of ​​activity;
• Ensure that the activities and facilities under its responsibility are executed and operated in accordance with the established regulatory, safety, radiological protection and licensing requirements.
