This laboratory is intended for the study of thermoluminescence and optically stimulated luminescence (TL and OSL) phenomena.
Equipment:
- Automatic reader RISØ TL/OSL DA20 with Sr90/Y90 beta irradiator and photomultiplier for detection in the range of 200 to 690 nm.
- Three Harshaw readers models 4500 (2) and 5500 (1) for thermoluminescence.
- Three RADOS RE2000A readers.
- Various detector materials for thermoluminescence.
- Two furnaces for thermal treatment of detectors.
- One optical erasure unit for detectors.
- One UV irradiator.
- Fiber optic cable for UV.
- UV-VIS monochromator.
