Purpose
Develop, adapt and apply analytical techniques in the areas of materials, nuclear fuel, minerals, the environment, health and processes in general. Develop and apply systems, methodologies and techniques to assess and minimize environmental impacts. Plan, coordinate, guide and evaluate research, development and innovation activities in the areas of the environment and analytical techniques to meet the needs of the CDTN and external clients.
Basic duties
- Develop and apply methods and techniques for chemical, physical-chemical, radiochemical and radiometric analysis;
- Develop and implement methods and techniques for assessing environmental impact due to potentially polluting activities;
- Develop models for dispersion of pollutants in the physical environment;
- Operate the CDTN Meteorological Tower;
- Develop and implement techniques for applying tracers and related techniques in hydrology, sedimentology, industrial processes and the environment;
- Develop and apply techniques for applying radioactive sources in measuring parameters and controlling various processes;
- Develop and implement methods, techniques and equipment for assessing the environmental impact of facilities;
- Contribute to the training of human resources in their area of activity;
- Plan, develop, implement and operate the CDTN Environmental Monitoring Program.
