Specialized Training Division - DIFES

Purpose

To plan, promote, support and monitor specialized education and training activities aimed at the external community.

Basic duties

• To monitor the execution of projects in their area, based on indicators;
• To assist the Director in representing the CDTN in various social forums, acting as an agent to promote the Center;
• To contribute to the strategic planning of the Center, within its scope of action;
• To coordinate the preparation of the annual plan for specialized training and extension courses to be offered to the external community;
• To propose actions and coordinate the execution of policies and strategies defined for the area of ​​specialized training and the management of CDTN employees;
• To coordinate the planning and execution of technical missions in Brazil and abroad, in their area of ​​action;
• To coordinate institutional programs for scholarships and curricular internships in accordance with the employee management policy in force at the CDTN;
• To coordinate, encourage and guide the raising of external resources for specialized training and qualification activities;
• Intermediate the resolution of operational conflicts within its scope of action;
• Propose and coordinate the implementation of policies and strategies defined for the Institution's specialized training area;
• Propose the budget and distribution of budgetary resources for its area;
• Propose, coordinate, monitor and evaluate the implementation of academic cooperation agreements aimed at specialized training;
• Prospect opportunities for improvements in specialized training actions;
• Represent the CDTN before the Specialized Training Council and other CNEN bodies focused on teaching and specialized training;
• Supervise the operation of the CDTN Postgraduate Program, based on the guidelines established in the CDTN Master Plan, acting as an appeals body for the decisions of this Program, when requested.
