The Mercury Determination Laboratory - LDM is one of the units of the Atomic Spectrometry Laboratory (LEA). The PerkinElmer FIMS 400 Analysis System was acquired in 1998 through the “Mercury in Mining” Research Project (FAPEMIG). The equipment is in operation and in good condition and is used to perform Hg determinations for the CDTN PMA, as well as for SEMAM/CDTN research projects and joint projects with DQ/UFMG.
Analytical Competence: Hg determinations in environmental samples (water, wastewater, soil, sediment, fish, etc.).
