Workers' Health Center - NUCSAT

Purpose

Manage the area of ​​Workers' Health and its interfaces, considering the specificities of workers and work activities performed at the various locations of the CDTN.

Basic duties

• Coordinate the performance of Periodic Examinations of CDTN employees and assigned workers, in accordance with the Occupational Health Medical Control Program of the National Nuclear Energy Commission;
• Provide initial care to the CDTN community in case of emergencies and refer victims to a specialized care unit, when necessary;
• Plan actions to promote the health of male and female workers, including oral health;
• Plan preventive activities with the Internal Commission for Public Servant Health (CISSP), with regard to work accidents and the most frequent diseases and injuries in the region;
• Provide Nursing assistance in care consistent with the complexity of the area of ​​activity and local availability;
• Carry out actions within the scope of Social Services, providing support to workers and their families, whenever necessary;
• Segregate and dispose of chemical, sharp and/or infectious waste generated at NUCSAT, in accordance with the relevant standards;
• Guide the CDTN community on matters of worker health;
• Manage documents related to the absence of employees and workers assigned from other departments (certificates and attendance statements), mediating the scheduling of expert assessments for these, guiding employees regarding the process and monitoring all procedures;
• Prepare reports and analyses relevant to worker health;
• Issue medical analysis and opinions to characterize and classify special activities;
• Monitor activities in the various sectors of the CDTN and assess possibilities for improvement;
• Be the faithful custodian of all documentation related to processes and reports relevant to the health of workers and collaborators, ensuring their authenticity, adequate storage, traceability and auditability, while safeguarding the ethical aspects involved.
