Purpose
To plan, promote, execute and monitor the teaching activities of the CDTN Graduate Program (PPGCDTN), with a view to training individuals with the aptitude and proficiency for high-quality scientific and technological research.
Basic duties
- To comply with the requirements and to be accountable to CAPES for the maintenance and quality of the CDTN Graduate Program (PPGCDTN);
- To ensure that the research topics of the students are associated with the projects and activities contained in the CDTN Master Plan, in the areas of concentration of the Program;
- To distribute and maintain control of the scholarships of the Graduate Program and the fulfillment of the commitments assumed by the scholarship holders;
- To mediate the resolution of operational conflicts, within its scope of action;
- To monitor opportunities for raising funds and cooperation with entities in the area in Brazil and abroad, and to present proposals for their use;
- To propose the budget and the distribution of budgetary resources for its area of activity;
- Approve and maintain updated curricular structures and course syllabi;
- Decide on the acceptance of new permanent or guest faculty;
- Keep all documentation and records related to the PPGCDTN, its students and graduates updated and accessible;
- Issue documents related to the academic life of PPGCDTN students and graduates;
- Ensure the maintenance of all documentation related to PPGCDTN processes, ensuring its authenticity, proper storage, traceability and auditability.
