Dr. Vivek Yadav
New Area Editor in Agricultural Genomics and Biotechnology, with an emphasis on horticultural crops
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Vivek Yadav as a new Area Editor for the journal. Dr. Yadav is affiliated with the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences and received his academic training at Northwest A&F University, China, where he obtained his PhD in 2022. Over the course of his career, he has been actively engaged in academic research, teaching, and service within the scientific community. Dr. Yadav joined the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2023 and currently working as a Associate Researcher. His research expertise focuses on multi-omics approaches in horticulture crops and biotic stress, contributing significantly to the understanding of plant-pathogen interactions and crop improvement strategies. Dr. Yadav has an impressive publication record, with more than 40 publications to his name, accumulating over 2,100 citations and an H-index of 20. He is currently serving as an editorial board member for several reputable journals, including the Journal of Crop Health, New Zealand Journal of Crop and Horticulture, and Archives of Phytopathology and Plant Protection.
