Accreditation for the Summit of Heads of State of Mercosur and Associated States and Mercosur Mercosur Social

The 63rd Summit of Heads of State of MERCOSUR and Associated States will be held in Rio de Janeiro on December 7, 2023, with the participation of the Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The Summit of Heads of State of MERCOSUR and Associated States will be preceded, on December 4 and 5, 2023, by the MERCOSUR Social Summit — to be attended by authorities and representatives of organized civil society. On December 6, the Ordinary Meeting of the MERCOSUR Common Market Council will take place alongside an agenda of meetings among ministers of Foreign Affairs and Economy and Central Bank presidents of MERCOSUR members and associated states, as well as special guests. Venue: Museum of Tomorrow and Rio Art Museum (Museu do Amanhã e Museu de Arte do Rio/MAR), Rio de Janeiro/RJ.

All accreditation requests must be made by 6 p.m. on November 30, 2023 (Brasília time) through the Press Accreditation System on the Palácio do Planalto website.

Accreditation for the Summit will also be valid for the events on December 4, 5, 6 and 7.

All press professionals must request participation in the event "Summit of Heads of State of Mercosur and Associated States and Mercosur Social", 2023 annual credentials will not be accepted at these events.

The following criteria for professionals per company will be met:

Television: 01 reporter, 01 film reporter, 01 technician and 01 assistant;

Radio: 01 reporter and 01 radio presenter;

Newspaper/Magazine: 01 reporter and 01 photojournalist;

News Agency: 01 reporter and 01 photojournalist

News Portal (Internet Media): 01 reporter and 01 photojournalist and 01 technician.

Delivery of credentials
Credentials will be delivered at the ground floor of the Rio Art Museum (Museu de Artes do Rio – MAR) located at Mauá Square, 5 - Downtown, Rio de Janeiro, during the following days and times:
- Sunday, December 3 (11:00 AM - 6:00 PM).
- Monday, December 4 (8:00 AM - 5:30 PM).
- Tuesday, December 5 (11:00 AM - 6:00 PM).
- Wednesday, December 6 (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
- Thursday, December 7 (8:00 AM - 10:00 PM).
