Visits to the Intelligence Museum are open to the public on Fridays in the afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Appointments must be requested by email at museudainteligencia@abin.gov.br, in which the visitor must provide the following information: full name, CPF (for general applicants) or passport (for foreigners) or RG (for applicants who are legally incapacitated), date of birth, and cell phone number.
The email must be sent at least 48 hours in advance of the requested visit date, and the applicant will receive a confirmation response. It is essential to present a legible official document with a photo, as well as to pay attention to the visiting rules for entering the complex. The estimated duration of the visit is 50 minutes.
Visits take place with a minimum of seven and a maximum of 15 people. Access to the Intelligence Museum is free and only allowed to visitors aged 12 and over.
MUSEUM VISITING RULES
- Visitors may park their vehicles in the ABIN Complex outdoor parking lot, must identify themselves at the main entrance, and will be taken to the Intelligence Museum in a vehicle provided by ABIN;
- Visitors must pass through a metal detector gate at the entrance to the Intelligence Museum;
- Electronic devices, including cell phones, will be retained and stored in a box for this purpose at the entrance to the Intelligence Museum;
- Personal belongings are subject to inspection;
- Firearms and sharp objects are not allowed in the ABIN Complex;
- Staying in the ABIN Complex must be restricted to the duration of the visit;
- Visitors wearing shorts, flip-flops, tank tops, and short clothing in general, mini-blouses, mini-skirts, and mini-dresses, frayed and torn pants, low-cut tops, and unusual clothing are not allowed to enter the ABIN Complex;
- Visitors are not allowed to touch the items on display in the museum, as this may damage them;
- Visitors are not allowed to consume any type of food or drink in the Intelligence Museum;
- Visitors are not allowed to take photographs or film on the premises of the Intelligence Museum and the ABIN Complex;
- Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian when visiting the museum;
- Visitors who are legally incapacitated must be accompanied by a guardian when visiting the museum;
- ABIN reserves the right to deny visitors access for logistical or security reasons.
