Science with the SOAR Telescope

Join us to discuss the science with SOAR Telescope from present day science programs to preparing for the next decade instruments and science operations.
May 13-15, 2025
Simultaneously at INPE, São José dos Campos, SP, Brazil
Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan, USA
(with real time transmission and connection between both sites)

2) USA participant registration deadline extended to April 14

(BR number of attendants reached, new inscriptions will be on waiting list)

3) We are pleased to announce a limited financial support for Brazilian participants.

Priority will be given to registered students and young astronomers presenting talks or posters that dont have other funding sources.

(Brazilian participants will receive by email instructions to apply for the support)

4) Updated schedule on the web page (talk times and intervals)

5) Presentation modalities will be evaluated by the SOC as soon as registration finishes. Results will be published on the web page April 21.
