Resumo: Como forma de discussão e reflexão sobre a conceituação de patrimônio cultural, os valores atribuídos a este, os sujeitos e agentes, a trajetória da materialização do patrimônio como bem consolidado e protegido legalmente, o tema da pesquisa se volta para a análise e compreensão das narrativas que constroem um Patrimônio Cultural. Para tanto, será exposta diferença entre “discurso” e “narrativa”, e como tais termos podem ser lidos dentro de um processo de tombamento, para então, volta-se para o objeto de pesquisa, o processo do Conjunto Histórico, Paisagístico e Arquitetônico de Corumbá/MS. Para tanto, além de referenciais teóricos e documentos oficiais para a produção da pesquisa, o presente trabalho também apoia-se nas imagens produzidas pelo autor, entrevistas e experiências de campo ao participar das atividades do Escritório Técnico do Iphan em Corumbá/MS. Desse modo, será discutida a importância de se considerar as diversas perspectivas e narrativas, montadas e expressas frente à narrativa formal de um processo de tombamento, com o intuito de montar diálogos possíveis do presente e do porvir, sobre o universo de afetos, signos e memórias que as práticas e os lugares invocam nos diversos grupos do Município, para demonstrar pontos diversos e a possibilidade de (re)interpretações de narrativas e (re)significações sobre um patrimônio cultural.

Abstract: As a way of discussing and reflecting on the concept of cultural heritage, the values attributed to it, the subjects and agents, the trajectory of the materialization of heritage as a consolidated and legally protected asset, the subject of the research turns to the analysis and understanding of the narratives that construct a Cultural Heritage. To this end, the difference between "discourse" and "narrative" will be explained, as well as how these terms can be read within a listing process, before turning to the object of the research, the process of the Historical, Landscape and Architectural Complex of Corumbá/MS. Therefore, in addition to theoretical references and official documents for the production of the research, this work also relies on images produced by the author, interviews and field experiences when participating in the activities of IPHAN's Technical Office in Corumbá/MS. In this way, the importance of considering the various perspectives and narratives, assembled and expressed in the face of the formal narrative of a listing process, will be discussed, with the aim of setting up possible dialogues of the present and the future, about the universe of affections, signs and memories that the practices and places invoke in the various groups in the municipality, to demonstrate different points and the possibility of (re)interpretations of narratives and (re)significance about a cultural heritage.
