With support from ANAC, international conference on cabin safety will take place in October

With the theme “Going Green - The Effect on Aircraft Cabin and Fire Safety”, the 10th Triennial International Conference on Research on Onboard Fire and Cabin Safety (“Cabin Safety”) is supported of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). The event will take place in person, between October 17 and 20, 2022, at the Resort Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States (USA).

The conference has the objective to inform the international aeronautical Community about  topics on recent activities in safety and in the transport category airplanes. Previous editions have included personal from the areas of engineering, design, air operations, maintenance and research.

The event for simultaneous projects, in which research is carried out by regulators, industries, universities and research centers. Basically, three areas are covered: flammability of materials, fire detection and extinguishing systems and occupant protection.

Aimed at anyone with an interest in aircraft fire and cabin safety research, the conference is a free event. In all, for better organization, participants are requested to register through the event page “2022 Conference: FAA Fire Safety” (click on the link to access).

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) always organizes and hosts this conference. ANAC, as a member of the organizing group, supports with other international civil assessment authorities: the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA); a US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); a Canadian Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA); the Japanese Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB); and the Chinese Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
