ANAC opens public call for submission of articles on the Cape Town Convention

The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) has opened a public call for scientific papers on the Cape Town Convention, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the protocol’s internalization. The call was opened on Monday, October 3, through Notice No. 24/ANAC/2022.

The initiative aims to stimulate the production of scientific material about the Convention, an international treaty that establishes rules that provide greater insurance to creditors in international financing operations for mobile aeronautical, space or railway equipment. The Convention entered into force in March 2006. Brazil approved its participation in the treaty in 2011.

The submitted papers will be sent for publication in a compendium celebrating ten years of the Cape Town Convention, which will bring together legal articles dealing with the protocol, the ten years since its approval in Brazil and its impact on the national aviation scenario, among others.
