Public consultation begins for the 7th round of airport concessions

The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) submits to Public Consultation No. 13/2021, on Wednesday (9/22), the drafts of the bid notice, the concession contract and the Technical, Economic and Environmental Feasibility Studies (TEEFSs) of the 7th round of airport concessions. The virtual public session for the participation of interested parties, by videoconference, will be held on October 27, at 2pm.

The 16 airports of the 7th round will be granted in clusters, which are located in the North, Southeast and Center-West regions of the country. Together, the terminals account for the processing of 39.2 million passenger departures and landings and 26% of the passengers who paid tickets in the Brazilian air transport market in 2019.

The virtual public hearing will be held using the Cisco Webex tool and broadcast on the Agency’s YouTube channel, available at https://www.youtube.com/ oficialanac. The registration of interested parties who wish to manifest themselves verbally during the session must be done until 6pm on October 22 by e-mail secretaria.geral@anac.gov.br.

Draft of legal documents

The draft of legal documents, public notice and concession contract, for the process of Brazil’s 7 ^th Round can be seen on the pages Public Consultations in progress and 7th Round (section “Concessions in progress” of the page “Airport Concessions”), both on ANAC portal (available only in Portuguese). The TEEFSs of the 7 ^th Round airports can be accessed on the website of the Civil Aviation Secretariat of the Ministry of Infrastructure (SAC/Minfra) at https://www.gov.br/infraestrutura/pt-br/assuntos/concessoes/concessoes-aeroportuarias/evtea-7a-rodada (available only in Portuguese).

Contributions to the 7th round of airport concessions should be sent to ANAC through the appropriate electronic form, available on the Public Consultations page (available only in Portuguese), until 6pm on November 8, 2021, and it is mandatory to specify the items for which you want to submit a contribution.

If it is necessary to attach files to the contributions, this content must be restricted to information, studies, tables and other subsidies, provided they are directly related to the items mentioned in the form. The public consultation of the 7th Round of concessions will be conducted by ANAC and will include the participation of SAC/Minfra, the agency responsible for the TEEFSs of the airports.
