Ciro Nogueira is the Chief of Staff of the Brazilian Presidency. Born on november 21st, in Piauí, Mr. Nogueira graduated in Law at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro - PUC-Rio.

He soon entered politics. In 1995, at the age of 26, he got his first seat at the Chamber of Deputies and was reelected Federal Deputy for the next three mandates. In 2010, Mr. Nogueira was elected to represent  the state of Piauí  in the Brazilian Senate and, in 2018,  he was reelected to serve as senator until 2026. 

From 2013 to 2021, Ciro Nogueira was also head of the Progressistas Party, one of the largest and most important Brazilian political parties. He left to become Chief of Staff of the Presidency.

As a result of his leadership as well as the great ability to deal with conflicts and build consensus, Mr. Ciro Nogueira has been standing, since 2014, as one of the most important 100 congressmen in Brazil.
