FUNAG publishes tenth volume in the series of the Legal Opinions of Itamaraty Legal Advisor

The Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation has just published the book Pareceres dos Consultores Jurídicos do Itamaraty [Legal Opinions of Itamaraty Consultants] – Volume X (2001-2015). This edition of the series was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Legal Advisor, Professor George Rodrigo Bandeira Galindo.

This volume collects opinions that focus on international legal issues between 2001 and 2015, many of them related to Brazilian constitutional law. Others deal with the administrative structure of the Brazilian Foreign Service. There are also important opinions, such as the analysis, in 2007, of the Bill on implementation of the Rome Statute in Brazil and the promulgation of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties.
