FUNAG has launched the book Maurício Nabuco e o diário secreto da diplomacia brasileira (1919-1977) [Maurício Nabuco and the Secret Diary of the Brazilian Diplomacy (1919-1977)], edited by Rogério de Souza Farias.

The work offers an in-depth analysis of 20th-century Brazilian diplomacy based on the career of one of its most influential figures, Maurício Nabuco. More than a biography, the work offers a critical reflection about the formulation of foreign policy and the adaptation of institutions to contemporary challenges. The historical contextualisation of Nabuco's diary makes it relevant reading for both scholars of diplomacy and those interested in public policy.

Available free of charge from FUNAG's digital library.
