FUNAG launches the 2nd edition of “José Bonifácio, primeiro chanceler do Brasil” [José Bonifácio, first foreign minister of Brazil]

On the occasion of the Bicentennial of Brazilian Independence celebrations, the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation is publishing the 2 ^nd edition of José Bonifácio, primeiro chanceler do Brasil [José Bonifácio, first foreign minister of Brazil], by Ambassador João Alfredo dos Anjos, with a preface by Ambassador Rubens Ricupero. During his 18-month tenure, Bonifácio established the Empire’s first foreign policy, which resonates today.
