Market access in Bosnia and Herzegovina for Brazilian poultry exports

The Brazilian government is pleased to announce that Bosnia and Herzegovina has authorized the import of poultry meat from Brazil.

This new market is expected to boost trade relations between the two countries and further demonstrates the global confidence in Brazil's robust sanitary control systems.

Between January and October 2024, Brazilian poultry exports reached $8.17 billion, totaling 4.38 million tons. As the world’s third-largest poultry producer and leading exporter, Brazil supplies this essential animal protein to approximately 170 countries, significantly contributing to global food and nutritional security.

With this latest authorization, Brazilian agribusiness has secured its 204th market access this year, totaling 282 new opportunities across 62 destinations since the start of 2023.

These accomplishments result from the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
