The National Data Protection Agency (ANPD) published today, Friday (27), the English version of the 5th edition of its Technology Radar, dedicated to the topic of Age Assurance Mechanisms. The launch of the Technology Radar – Age Assurance Mechanisms  comes at a strategic moment of global cooperation for the protection of data belonging to vulnerable groups.

Technology Radar No. 5 analyzes different technological solutions — such as biometric estimation, behavioral and document analysis — aimed at preventing children and adolescents from accessing inappropriate content or having their data processed unlawfully on digital platforms.

The publication of this study is essential to support the adjustments required by the Digital ECA (Law No. 15,211/2025), which will enter into force on March 18, 2026. The English version seeks to broaden knowledge on the subject, given that many technology platforms operate on a cross-border basis.
