Academy
The INPI Academy, established in 2006, is responsible for developing activities to disseminate the culture of intellectual property and innovation, and has been working in the fields of teaching, research and continuing education. It was the first Brazilian institution to offer postgraduate courses in the field of IP and Innovation and has awarded more than 180 masters and doctoral degrees since 2007.
In the field of continuing education, the Academy has trained more than 100,000 persons through distance and classroom courses.
Biblioteca Economista Claudio Treiguer, which has more than 16,000 items on intellectual property, completes the structure of this model, which is unique among Brazilian institutions precisely for bringing together highly experienced technical staff, leadership in research and focus on continuing education in intellectual property and innovation, always directed to the demands of the market and of the society.
