National Defense Extension Course (CEDN)
Objective
The National Defense Extension Course (CEDN) is an academic activity promoted by the Brazilian Defense College (ESD) through the Extension, Research and Postgraduate Division (DEPPG, in Portuguese).
The main objective of the course is to motivate reflective thinking and studies about National Defense, in compliance to the 6th National Defense Policy Objective – “ To raise awareness within Brazilian society of the importance of defense subjects”. The course is free of charge and is delivered through lectures and debates at the highest level, having the presence of well-known civilian and military specialists from all over the country.

Audience
The course is free of charge and open for enrollment
Certificate
At the end of the course, a certificate will be issued to all participants who complete, at least, 75% of the course load.
