Defense Economics and Development Training Center (NCAD)

Since 2020, the center called “Defense Economics and Development Training Center

(NCAD)” has been operating at ESD. It focuses on topics related to Capability-Based Planning (CBP), defense economics, Defense Industrial Base, strategic planning, and public policies related to defense.

Annually, NCAD promotes training, webinars, technical meetings and participates in a fruitful partnership with the Institute for Defense Analyzes - IDA (USA), in the field of CBP and defense acquisitions. Several seminars, workshops and courses have already been conducted, training ESD researchers and military personnel from the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces, between 2019 and 2021.
