STRATEGIC LOGISTICS AND DEFENSE COURSE (CLED)
Objective
To develop competencies to work at the managerial levels of Strategic Logistics and National Mobilization, in the interest of defense.
Audience
a) civilians appointed by national invited institutions, state-run or private, which are related to the Defense Logistics System (SisLogD) and the National Mobilization System – SINAMOB;
b) senior officers, preferably holding a Staff Course Certificate, and, exceptionally, junior officers (captains) of the Armed Forces; and
c) senior officers, preferably holding a Staff Course Certificate from their institutions, and, exceptionally, junior officers (captains) of the invited Auxiliary Forces.
Course Organization
CLED is carried out in the hybrid modality. Three weeks are online learning and 15 weeks are in-person, with classes from Monday through Friday (from 9:00am to 12:30pm). There is a domestic trip dedicated to Interdisciplinary Field Studies which lasts a week.
The course lasts 18 weeks and the course load is of 376 hrs/year. There is one week off in July.
CLED 2025 will be held from June 30 to November 07.
Throughout the course, the students will have the following subjects: Foundations of Security and Defense; Foundations of Logistics and National Mobilization; Logistics Management; Organizational Logistics Strategic Planning; Logistics Modeling and Support to Decision; Applied Exercises and Simulation; Interdisciplinary Studies and Logistics and Mobilization; Scientific Research Methodology.
