The usage of CAPES´ logo is authorized in sites, videos, advertisements and publications of similar nature – always with nonprofit purposes – in the following situations:

1- Events where researchers and institutions received funds from the institution for research projects, the popularization of science and scientific publications, both with direct or indirect support from CAPES.

2- When all institutional partners of CAPES involved – public organs, corporate enterprises, embassies, consulates, foundations, foment agencies, universities and its departments and sponsors in general – participate in acts of promoting and widening of knowledge.

3- In events related to the administrative and technical areas of the institution.

CAPES does not specify the place of insertion of the logo to be displayed. However, being a Executive Federal organ, we follow procedures that can be consulted in the Manual de Uso da Marca do Governo Federal. Please follow instructions available in Ordinance nº 206/2018, for matters concerning quotes from the institution.

The Work Group for the Protection of Title Name and Image of Federal Public Foundation and Autarchies (Federal Prosecutor´s Office) reinforces that economic use of Public Administration´s name and image is considered undue.
