Institutional Teacher Initiation Scholarship Program - Pibid PIBID aims to provide initial professional development for undergraduate students by integrating them into the daily activities of basic education during the first half of their studies. This initiative contributes to enhancing their qualifications. The program offers scholarships to teachers in the public education system and professors in higher education institutions (IES).

Program to Support Events for Basic Education (PAEP-EB) PAEP-EB is a program of financial support to short-term events related to the basic education in Brazil. Theses events, of scientific, cultural, technological and extension nature, involves researchers, professors of graduation and post-graduation courses and other professionals of the basic education area.

National Program for Promoting Equity in Basic Education Teaching Qualification - Parfor Equity The Parfor Equity Program is an initiative supported by CAPES and the Secretary of Continuing Education, Youth and Adult Literacy, Diversity, and Inclusion at the Ministry of Education (SECAD/MEC). The program is designed to address specific qualifications for teachers in the public educational system. Its primary goal is to address the educational needs for indigenous and black people as well as Quilombola and rural populations. Parfor also places special emphasis on bilingual education for the deaf population.

International Cooperation

PARFOR PARFOR is a Capes initiative aimed at enhancing the initial qualification of teachers in the Brazilian public basic education network. Launched in 2009, it promotes the provision of undergraduate courses in the teachers' areas of expertise.
