Calendar of CTC-ES and College Meetings
Competencies
The Higher Education Technical Scientific Council holds as competencies:
1 - To provide assistance to the Executive Board in the elaboration of policies and guide-lines in topics related to the qualification of high standard human resources, to the post graduate system as a whole and to the scientific and technological development system in the Country.
2 – To collaborate in the making of proposals to the National Post Graduate System.
3 - To opine about criteria and proceedings connected to the distribution of scholarships and individual and institutional allowances.
4 – To opine in matters related to CAPES´ annual program for higher education.
5 – To opine about cooperation agreements between CAPES and national and international institutions.
6 – To propose criteria and proceedings for the evaluation and follow-up of post graduate programs and for programs carried by CAPES in the scope of higher education.
7 – To deliberate about proposals for new courses and the grades attributed during the evaluation of post graduate programs.
8 – To propose studies and programs concerning the improvement of the institution´s activities related to the qualification of high-standard personnel, to the post graduate system and to the national system of scientific and technological development.
9 – To opine about topics submitted to the President of CAPES and
10 – To elect the Superior Council representative.
